Preparing canonical source geometry…

One landmark, a fine-grained district

Optional tower concept. The 26-floor tower replaces 2 source envelopes at a trial location on the civic piazza edge. Base FG3D data and program are unchanged. Toggle the concept to compare. Area, core and material drawings accompany this study; no fitted home count or code approval is implied.

Explore the geometry

This model uses the actual occupied floor polygons and recorded story heights from the current CU Candlestick design file. It includes bay projections, holes, multipart buildings, parking shells, and authored public-realm geometry.

This is a massing study. Detailed windows, facades and roof forms are simplified to closed envelopes and flat caps. Tree controls are represented by schematic crowns. Tower glazing and the framed double-door entrance are revised in this separate option. District floor geometry and baseline program are unchanged. No fitted homes or engineering approvals are implied.

The guided tour begins over the neighborhood and eastern San Francisco Bay waterfront, then approaches the civic piazza along the source major boulevard at a 2 m camera height. It orbits the civic piazza, flies to Bayview in the north, follows source side streets to Harney in the south, and closes over the southern waterfront. Short camera-only connectors add no new streets.

NOAA NGS2025 imagery supplies approximate flat shoreline context below the proposal. Source and model use different NAD83 realizations; no surveyed alignment or new beach geometry is claimed.

All authored surfaces use flat conceptual display elevations. Shoreline, drainage, terrain, ownership and site availability remain unverified.
